My Experience
I was looking for a free spot close to Jupiter and Rudbeckia was it! 35 minutes to the beach at Jupiter Inlet.
I prefer my privacy and therefore was lucky to book site F (Rudbeckia). Site E would’ve worked too but it was booked.
Site F uses a different entrance than the others along SR 711. Please use my waypoints above for directions.
The dirt roads to all 6 sites were in good condition and it was just a short drive to my site.
All 6 sites are just small pullouts with no amenities. You camp very close to the access road and folks were up and down past my site all day long and well into the evening. The sites overlook small lakes and canals and while the views were nice, the mosquitoes were bothersome at night.
At least I did not share a site and I was happy with my choice (F). Verizon worked well.
I only stayed one night and was glad to leave. Frankly, I do not like this type of camping where I am exposed to vehicle traffic. And I would not have been happy in one of the shared sites.
Yes, I appreciate the FREE camping but I wish there were locked gates or some way to manage local vehicle traffic at all hours. The sites are just too exposed and close to the roads for my liking.
